What’s in a Kitchen Garden Box?

A Kitchen Garden Box from Sugarloaf Ridge farm contains a diverse range of farm fresh, seasonal, vegetables and herbs (occasionally some fruit may be included). You can expect 7 to 10 varieties in your Kitchen Garden Box.  Each week we harvest salad and cooking greens, fruiting crops and root vegetables.

What we grow:

Salad greens – lettuce, baby lettuce, baby spinach, baby kale, mustard greens, etc.

Asian greens – bok choy, tatsoi, pak choi, mizuna.

Greens – kale, silverbeet, rainbow chard, broccolini, broccoli, cauliflower.

Root crops – carrots, radish, spring onions, turnips, beetroot, garlic.

Fruit crops – peas, snowpeas, tomatoes, capsicum, chillies, eggplant, pumpkin, cucumber, zucchini, melons, beans.

Herbs – coriander, parsley, basil, thyme, oregano, rosemary, mint, dill, sage and more…

Flowers – we grow a range of flowers to increase pollinator and beneficial insect habitat, biodiversity, and to add some extra colour to our kitchen garden boxes.
